Dear teachers,
I am just sending this on now as I know it is world book day tomorrow, and thought it might be useful for you to have a Sustrans resource to send out to families (although apologies for the late notice!).
Please find attached World Book Day Activity –Active Travel Adventure. This activity encourages children to create a story about their own adventure using only human power – that’s walking, cycling, skating, scooting, in a wheelchair or any other human powered device. There is also an option to extend the activity into creating an active travel poster!
Also below is a video from some of the other Sustrans Schools officers who tell us about their favourite books and why they are so special to them.
