School Trip to Down Museum and the St Patrick's Centre

29th Mar 2022

The whole school enjoyed their trip to the Down Museum and the St Patrick's centre today. They walked around the Museum and were very keen to see and hear about life in the past as well as during the two world wars. They also had a sneak peak into the prison cells. They thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Next the children went to the St Patrick's Centre and enjoyed some celtic letter writing with quils and created their own bookmarks to take away with them. They had a fun drama activity and watched the informative film about the life of St Patrick and saw some famous places around Downpatrick and Saul. Leah also won a pencil case from Donna at the Centre. Well done Leah. It was an enjoyable trip and I'm sure the boys and girls will sleep well tonight. P4-7 have their art workshop tomorrow, so we look forward to that.
