Mental Health Awareness week Email from GAA
Dear Principal/Teacher,
I hope you and your family are keeping well and staying safe during this uncertain time.
As you may be aware, this week (18th – 24th May) is Mental Health Awareness Week. As a coaching group, myself and the other coaches within the Ulster GAA KS2 Schools Programme have created a short video to help raise awareness of ways to help us cope with the current global situation and manage our own mental health. Children’s mental health at this time is a major concern and focus for us, along with their physical health. Our video is designed to outline the ‘Take 5’ initiative from the Public Health Agency regarding improving mental health.
Below is the YouTube link to the video:
The video is also available on all Ulster GAA social media outlets.
To help us promote this message, could I ask that you distribute this link across your school’s social media sites for parents and children to see and engage with.
Thanks for your continued support. Hopefully we can get back to our normal school lives in the near future.
Best regards,
Oisin
