Christmas Cosy day with VOYPIC

10th Dec 2020

Dear Principal

I would be grateful if you could share this information with your pupils, staff and their families, including through your social media channels.

It has been a tough year. And, as we approach the Christmas holidays, it’s still not quite safe enough for us to come together to celebrate.

Voice of Young People in Care (VOYPIC) has been working with our friends in other children’s charities, as well as the Public Health Agency and Education Authority, to see how we can (safely) bring the community together and celebrate. On Saturday 19 December, we invite you, and your families and friends, to put on your favourite Christmas pyjamas, snuggle up on the sofa with your favourite Christmas blanket, watch your favourite Christmas movie, listen to your favourite Christmas music, play some Christmas games, and nibble on your favourite Christmas snacks!

Join us for the first ever Christmas Cosy!

We would really appreciate it if you would share the attached flyer on social media and encourage your community to #StayHomeStaySafeStayCosy! We have also attached come sample messages to accompany the image. Please feel free to share your festive selfies alongside the flyer, showing off your best Christmas attire and decorations!

You can find more information about the Christmas Cosy on our website: www.christmascosy.com and sign up here to get all the latest news and updates.

On the day, join the party online through social media, using #ChristmasCosy and tagging VOYPIC (see links below).

We really hope to see you in person in the not-too-distant future, but for now, we hope you will join our great big (stay-at-home) Christmas party, our #ChristmasCosy.

Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Cosy
