Good afternoon, 

At Blackwater Integrated College we greatly value the links we have with our feeder Primary Schools. It is a shame that due to current circumstances we have been unable to follow our usual Primary Links programme with P7 pupils invited to our popular Taster Day and Open Night. We have also been unable to offer P7 pupils the opportunity to take part in our practical workshops which are very enjoyable and run throughout the year. We look forward to getting this programme up and running again as soon as it is safe to do so. 

We would still like to give all prospective pupils and parents the information and answers they need in order to make the important decision about Post Primary education. I have attached some information which would be helpful. We have various videos on both our website and school Facebook page (I have attached the YouTube links below). I have also attached a PDF leaflet and our Prospectus which could be displayed on your school website, P7 remote classrooms or emailed to parents. We would be extremely grateful if this information could be passed on as we are keen to speak to any prospective parents and answer any queries they may have about either mainstream education or our Learning Support Centre. All contact details are displayed on the PDF.

At Blackwater Integrated College we have invested in the latest Technology using Chromebook laptops. In a survey last week 94% of our parents felt that our online learning provision was excellent. To enhance both in school and online learning all Year 8 students starting in September 2021 will be provided with a new Chromebook to assist with the use of Google Classroom.
